Small Boat Diving

The "ESCAPE" is classified an Unispected Passenger Vessel (UPV) by the US Coast Guard. UPV's are commonly called "six-packs" because they can carry no more than six paying passengers, whether they are diving, fishing, or just along for the ride.  The Escape meets or exceeds the USCG-mandated safety and emergency requirements for a commercial boat of her size. For your diving safety, we have a DAN emrgency oxygen system and are trained to use it.

Small boat diving has many advantages over the large "cattle" dive boats. Since we only carry 2 to six divers, our divers are treated more like family than clients.

We do not have to adhere to a set schedule and can tailor the trip to suit your diving needs and desires. If you want to catch slack high tide or just want to sleep late, no problem. We only make one trip a day and you decide when.

Each diver receives individual attention from our fully-qualified Captain and crew. With fewer divers, we get you in and out of the water quickly.

We provide non-alcoholic drinks and snacks for our guests, but feel free to bring your own.

Even though the "ESCAPE" is small by dive boat standards, she boasts a spacious center dive rack and benches. Being a catamaran, she has a large dive ladder between the engines, making for an easy entry and exit.
